Litton named Knight in Royal Norwegian Order of Merit
Bergen, Norway. The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra announces with great pride and pleasure that by order of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway, Bergen Philharmonic Music Director Andrew Litton has been named a Knight in the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit.
The Royal Norwegian Order of Merit, founded by King Olav V in 1985, is conferred on foreign and Norwegian nationals as a reward for their outstanding service in the interest of Norway.
