Vadim Gluzman, Andrew Litton and the Bergen Philharmonic win France's top recording award, the 2011 Diapason d'Or

The Diapason d'Or of 2011 were presented Thursday, Nov. 17 at Studio 105 Maison de Radio France, during a live broadcast on the airwaves of France Musique, by Edward and Emilie Munera Foure Caul-Futy (and available for replay on francemusique.com).

Among those recordings honored was Bruch: Violin Concerto No. 1, Romanze in F major, and String Quintet in A minor, recorded for BIS by Andrew Litton, Vadim Gluzman, and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra.
