Andrew Litton will remain with the Colorado Symphony through the 2017-2018 season, even through he's just accepted a job in New York City.
Litton, an acclaimed conductor who's been involved with the Colorado Symphony since 2012, will continue as its music director. After initially serving as the symphony's artistic adviser, Litton was named music director in August 2013.
Jerry Kern, CEO of the Colorado Symphony, called Litton "the Peyton Manning of the orchestra world."
